Real Kabaddi League 2023: Full Schedule, squads, match timings & live streaming details

Following the remarkable success of Pro Kabaddi League, the franchise-based sports league Real Kabaddi League has emerged with the mission of empowering the regional Kabaddi players and elevating their recognition on the national stage. The tournament is a perfect platform for young and upcoming talent to showcase their skills. The common goal of the league is to focus on scouting and nurturing talent from non-metro cities and grassroots. A total of eight teams are taking part in the tournament namely Arawali Eagles, Bikana Riders, Chambal Pirates, Jaipur Jaguars, Shekhawati Kings, Mewar Monks, Jodhana Warriors, Singh Soorma. Shekhawat Kings, under the leadership of Naveen Sharma, will enter this season as the defending champions after defeating Chambal Pirates with a scoreline of 41-32 in last season’s finale. Kabaddi at Asian Games 2022, Day 4: Indian men’s team continues unbeaten run to reach semi-finals

On the fourth day of the kabaddi event at Asian Games 2022, the action resumed with the remaining four group matches in the men's category in Hangzhou, China. India secured wins in their remaining two group-stage matches against Chinese Taipei and Japan to complete a clean sweep and stay unbeaten in Asian Games 2022. In the first clash on the 5th of October, Thailand brought an end to their losing streak by beating Japan with a 45 - 31 margin win. In the second match of the day, the Indian team started with positive intent and looked to capitalise on every given opportunity. Chinese Taipei tried to get the Indian players in some trouble, however, the kabaddi heavyweights managed to soak the pressure and stay on top.   Kabaddi is played in 3 styles - Circle kabaddi, Beach kabaddi, and National style Kabaddi. The circle Kabaddi was demonstrated in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. The beach kabaddi was introduced in Bali Asian Indoor games in 2008 and National style kabaddi was introduced as a medal sport by Beijing ASIAD in 1990.  These three styles of Kabaddi are played in three different formats. The three types of Kabaddi are  Surjeevani Gaminee Amar 1.Surjeevani Kabaddi This form of Kabaddi is played under the Kabaddi Federation of India. It is governed by kabaddi federations rules and regulations. In this Kabaddi, one player takes the place against a player of the opposite team who is out. It follows the rule - One out, One in.
